Social distancing doesn’t have to be boring or lonely – join us online during your lunch break from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm and support local startups as they graduate from Invest Ottawa’s Pre-Accelerator. Take part in shaping the future and listen to Ottawa’s brightest new entrepreneurs as they pitch their businesses to win it all.

Two founders will take home the titles of Best Pitch and Crowd Favourite and will earn six months of free office space at the IO Accelerator, as well as one-on-one mentorship from leading mentors.

Cohort 6 started 10 weeks ago when 19 innovative Ottawa startups from the Ottawa-Gatineau area joined the Pre-Accelerator Program after a rigorous selection process. This cohort is comprised of entrepreneurs whose businesses range from B2B to B2C and from SaaS to e-marketplace.

The IO Pre-Accelerator is designed to validate founders’ ideas and help them to build their business on a solid foundation. Weekly workshops include learning how to develop the minimal viable product (MVP), determine customer segments, discover funding streams, and build brand value.
