Speaker Bio
David Leclerc AKA Quest started his career as a music producer at the age of 21 (2001) by learning from his mentor, Da Heala, who has since produced for R’n’B artist, the Weeknd. Since then, he has worked with most of Ottawa’s urban music artists by being the “go-to” guy for music production in the Ottawa-Gatineau Region.
His most recent creative collaboration is with Ottawa Hip Hop artist, Hevve. Together, they’ve produced collective works like the Album V, showcased at festivals including RBC Bluesfest, signed with a record label, and have amassed significant recognition.
Now in 2019, Quest believes that he’s just getting started. 18 years have passed since he picked up his first turntable, and his beats have become more fluid and more efficient than ever. His next creative phase is called Dreamland. The first project under this brand name will be Quest’s original album featuring a mix of talented rappers/singers from the National Capital Region! His full updated discography and videography can be found on Instagram.
