Validating Your Business Idea (Virtual)
About this workshop:
There are many great ideas, but do you have a great business idea? This session will discuss many of the factors you need to consider before you jump into business. In this 1.5 hour session, you will be introduced to The Lean Start Up Canvas, which is a tool used to help validate your business. We will also be working through a cash flow sheet (which will be included and sent to all attendees).
It is important to develop a business model that clearly explains how your business could function and this session will help you take that first step. This session does not cover writing a business plan.

Paula Hopkins is a passionate entrepreneurship advocate. She is the Director of the Entrepreneurship Team, and has worked with Invest Ottawa for over 10 years to help people start and grow their businesses.
