Ladies Who Launch
Ladies Who Launch is a group of 100+ women leaders from Ottawa’s tech ecosystem. Together, we’ve created a community where women can lean on each other for support, grow personally and professionally, and, ultimately, have an easier time reaching our goals because we have the resources and network we need to do it.
Founders, co-founders, C-suite executives, vice presidents and directors leading tech companies make up this community.
They join to connect with other goal-oriented women leaders.
You’re on the right page if this describes you.
Women join this community because they want to grow personally and professionally.
They’re entrepreneurs and employees in Ottawa expanding their network and their thinking.

This isn’t another meeting in your calendar or task on your to-do list. It’s an investment in yourself. Take in the brilliance of others, tell peers what’s weighing on your mind, speak to your experiences and share your knowledge. Ladies Who Launch is a space to connect and collaborate – to get support and give it.
Participate in 6 exclusive meetups a year. Some are in person, others are online. They include ask-me-anything sessions, workshops and round-tables. All are led by experts who have been in your shoes and are ready to share. And every event is free.
100+ women leaders from Ottawa are group members. Introduce yourself, share an interesting article, pose your questions, even invite someone to coffee. Do it all easily by joining the Ladies Who Launch Slack channel. Slack is where our team communicates. We’ll post exciting news, new funding opportunities and relevant resources. Think of it as your 21st century Rolodex and a great way to reduce inbox clutter.
Essential leadership skills development is the groups’ focus. So is addressing common themes and issues women leaders face.
We cover these topics together, so we can all grow personally and professionally, be better partners and leaders, and, ultimately, have an easier time reaching our goals.
“I was looking for people to connect with who understood my experience”
It can be lonely being an entrepreneur. There are some high highs and some low lows. I was looking for people to connect with who understood my experience, specifically as a woman in tech. I also wanted to learn from other smart, motivated leaders; to share challenges and ideas, to offer my support and to receive support in return. That’s what Ladies Who Launch is all about.
