This workshop will host 2 guest speakers with expertise in both the financial structures of social enterprises and the organizational structures of socially-minded businesses. A question and answer period will be held at the completion of these talks.
Guest Speaker #1
Jonathan Wade of Social Delta will be providing an overview of the different organizational structures that maximize opportunities for socially-minded businesses, including social enterprises, hybrid corporations, cooperatives and B Corps. With a focus on social enterprise in particular, Jonathan will offer the pros and cons of the different structures and accompanying governance implications.
